Goal Group Hires William Salva

Tax reclaims specialist Goal Group has hired William Salva as global business development manager, based in Philadelphia.

He will be looking to build the Goal Group book of clients across the globe.
He previously worked at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), JP Morgan Chase and BNP Paribas.

As director of Global Tax Services at DTCC, Salva worked with numerous market participants to negotiate tax relief arrangements with tax authorities in Canada,
Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland, growing the amount of tax relief facilitated through DTC’s Elective Dividend Service (EDS) to over $2 billion per year.

He has additionally served as chair of the DTC Foreign Taxes Legal Working Group, on the SIFMA Dividend Division Advisory Board, and on the OECD informal consultative group on taxation of collective investment vehicles and procedures for tax relief for cross border investors.
