Miller, Stephanie

Stephanie Miller was inducted as a GC Legend initially in 2013 but since her move from SS&C earlier this year we thought we would catch up with her again.

Inducted: 2016

After building Citco from the ground-up, Miller joined JP Morgan in January 2012 to head-up the investment bank’s Alternatives Investment Services division, spending four years there before moving to SS&C.

As global head of alternative investments at JP Morgan, she has expanded the fund administration business with functions like investor reporting and middle-office outsourcing during the integration of Investor Services with the Corporate and Investment Bank.

Miller set up Citco’s middle-office services business and grew the business from six to 100 people. Speaking to Global Custodian back in 2013, it was clear that Miller kept her Citco roots close to heart. “From a personal perspective, I love Citco. I grew up with them, and going through the credit crisis they stuck by their clients. And it was a good story, and I value that,” she said in 2013.

Prior to Citco, Miller worked at Credit Suisse First Boston for two years, following spells with Capco, CDC Capital Partners and FGIC Capital.

Miller holds a BA in Accounting and Management Information Systems from Queen’s College of the City University of New York.
