GC Legend Caporale joins Gen II Fund Services to lead sales strategy

Independent private equity fund administrator Gen II Fund Services has hired GC Legend Robert Caporale as its new head of strategic business development.

In the role, Caporale will focus on developing strategic client partnerships and acquisition opportunities.

A seasoned fund services and alternative investment industry veteran, Caporale joins from FinTech firm Exchangelodge where he was the CEO. He also previously spent 12 years at JP Morgan within the securities and fund services business, including head of US sales, head of alternative investment services, and CEO and founder of its private equity fund services business.

“Robert’s knowledge of private equity fund administration and extensive experience within the alternative investment industry will be crucial in identifying partnership and acquisition opportunities to further advance Gen II’s business development objectives,” said Norman Leben, co-founder and managing principal, Gen II.

Gen II Fund Services is one of the largest independent private equity fund administrators in the US with over $350 billion of private capital, servicing more than 4000 funds

Last year, it was named the exclusive fund administrator to certain private equity funds sponsored by Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI), providing fund accounting and reporting, fund administration and other related services to ASI’s USA private equity funds collectively representing in excess of $10 billion.
