On May 24, the Ministry of Finance released statistics on the investment amount in Japanese stocks by foreigners for the third week in May 2007.
The record shows a foreign net buying of JPY 0.2 trillion, so far a third consecutive net buying week since the beginning of May.
The total of net buying so far for May amounted to JPY 0.39 trillion, exceeding the net selling total of JPY 0.37 trillion for the fourth week in April 2007.
During the recent 20 weeks since the beginning of 2007, foreign investors have been net buyers for 15 weeks, and net sellers for five weeks. In terms of amount, foreign investors are net buyer of JYP 4.7 trillion.
