Eurex is extending the maximum terms of four German equity options to five years. From 18 October, the terms of options on the equities BASF, E.ON, Munich Re and RWE will be extended from 24 months to 60.
With the extension of the terms for these four products, Eurex says it is responding to growing demand from market participants for equity options products with longer terms. Eurex now offers terms of up to 60 months for all options on German equity components of the Euro STOXX 50.
