Eurex Claims New Records In Total and Bobl Futures Turnover

Eurex claimed to have posted a new record in total turnover and in Bobl futures yesterday. The derivatives market says more than 7 million contracts traded on a single day for the first time, with total turnover hitting 7,360,750 contracts – 20 per cent ahead of the previous record, set on 24 July last year, of 6,106,621 contracts. 1,319,784 Bobl futures contracts were traded, 13 per cent ahead of the previous record, set on 5 September 2002, of 1,167,219 contracts
