eSecLending, a global securities lending manager, has announced that its chairperson, Susan C. Peters, is leaving the company.
Peters will transition out of her role over the course of this year. The other members of eSecLending’s executive committee, which manages the firm, are President Chris Jaynes, Chief Investment Officer Ty Danco and Chief Operating Officer Karen O’Connor. They will continue to run the firm in Peters’ stead.
“I’m proud to have been a part of such a dynamic team that has helped to bring change to the securities lending marketplace,” Peters said. “I would like to thank our clients and employees who have all been critical to the company’s success. After several rewarding years, I am looking forward to moving to Europe with my family and pursuing new endeavors.”
President Chris Jaynes added: “On behalf of our executive committee and employees, I would like to thank Susan for her tremendous contributions to the firm and for the important role she has played in the continued growth and success of our business. We look forward to working with Susan throughout her transition and wish her much success in the future.”
