Erik Jens Succeeds Alex Elfers As CEO Of Fortis Prime Fund Solutions

Erik Jens, currently Business Operating Officer in the Commercial and Private Banking arm of Fortis Bank, has been appointed CEO of Fortis Prime Fund Solutions.

He succeeds Alex Elfers, who will become CEO of Strategy, Risk Management and Business Development, which is currently a vacant position.

Erik Jens has enjoyed a long career in Wealth Management and Private Banking since joining Fortis in 1990 (in the old Pierson Heldring & Pierson business). He was a member of the MeesPierson Private Banking Management Board until 2005, with responsibility for Investments.

In his position as BOO and member of the Management Board of Commercial and Private Banking, Jens has been responsible for Human Resources, Information Systems and Operations.

In his new role Erik Jens will report directly to Frans Demmenie, a member of the Merchant & Private Banking Board.
