Asset servicing banking group CACEIS has been appointed to provide asset services for the funds of French investment management company Épopée Gestion.

CACEIS will provide Épopée Gestion with custodian banking, registrar, middle-office and fund administration services.

Épopée Gestion aims to build up French regions by working with entrepreneurs to increase the growth of companies in the Grand-Ouest region of France that encompasses Brittany and Pays de la Loire.

Épopée Gestion has two objectives – to make local impact through job creation and improving quality of life, as well as contributing directly to the economic, ecological and societal transition.

“To provide support for the development of Épopée Gestion, we sought a trusted partner with impeccable quality of service. With its full range of services and its long-standing experience, CACEIS seemed the obvious choice,” said Ronan le Moal, co-founder of Épopée Gestion.

The news of this mandate follows the appointment of CACEIS by Dutch insurance firm, Lifetri Group, for the outsourcing of its asset management middle- and back-office operations.

“We are delighted to make all our expertise available to Épopée Gestion. Through this new partnership, we are providing support for a differentiated and united investment strategy for the French regions,” said Arnaud Garel-Galais, global head of private equity, real estate & securitisation services at CACEIS.
