Eiger Systems, the UK-based banking and e-commerce solutions provider, has launched a new update tool, Eiger Manager. Its aim is to reduce the time users spend maintaining individual or multiple Eiger Systems products.
Historically, each Eiger Systems product has been delivered with its own manager software for implementing weekly updates to the Database Table Files. From September 2003, all update functions can be executed easily and centrally using Eiger Manager.

Eiger Systems claims to be the the only bank data validation specialist in Europe to issue product updates on a weekly basis. “A dedicated team of data analysts constantly validate data changes received from the banks using a multitude of online sources and by contacting banks and billers,” says Adele Dixon, Data Team Manager at Eiger Systems. ” Every change we receive is double checked against another source before being accepted and passed through to our customers. Changes to modulus rules are checked particularly carefully and data from European banks is subject to the same exhaustive processes. Only by undertaking weekly audits and questioning the validity of every change we receive, is it possible to ensure that Eiger Systems continues to supply its customers with the most accurate and up-to-date bank data in Europe.”
