EDHEC has appointed Samuel Sender as Research Associate with the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre, where he will be involved in the “Asset-Liability Management and Asset Management” research programme, contributing notably to the modelling of insurance companies’ liabilities.

Sender founded MC2 Finance, an independent consulting firm for life and mutual insurance companies, before joining FINALYSE, a consultancy specialised in risk and performance measurement, as a senior insurance consultant and ALM specialist.

Formerly with the Economics, Strategy and Quantitative Research unit at HSBC Asset Management Europe, and then head of Asset-Liability Management at Erisa, the French life insurance subsidiary of HSBC, he is a graduate in Statistics and Economics from ENSAE (Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique) in Paris.
