Deutsche Bank has appointed Javeed Ameen as its chief operating officer (COO)in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ameen will be responsible for coordinating all of the bank’s infrastructure functions across all business lines, product groups, legal entities and branches.

Javeed’s expertise will help us establish an optimal infrastructure that will help us meet our ambitious growth objectives in Saudi Arabia,” says Jamal Alkishi, chief country officer for Saudi Arabia, Deutsche Bank.
Ameen joined Deutsche Bank in 2001 and has held a variety of senior positions most recently as COO in India.

Deutsche Bank opened its first branch in Riyadh in 2006. In 2007, Deutsche Securities Saudi Arabia, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank was granted a license by the Capital Market Authority of Saudi Arabia to offer brokerage and custody services, as well as arranging, advising and providing investment funds management.
