Banque Piguet, a Swiss private bank, has appointed Charles de Boissezon as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He starts work on 1 November 2003.

De Boissezon joins Banque Piguet after 32 years with the HSBC Group where he has held a number of executive positions in retail, corporate and private banking in Hong Kong, Chile, Jersey and Djibouti. Most recently, he was based in Geneva as a member of the Executive Committee of HSBC Republic Bank. He succeeds the late Pierre Dejardin-Verkinderin, former CEO of Banque Piguet.

“Charles has had an extremely successful career in private banking over the last seventeen years,” says Ollie Hare, an Executive Director of Banque Piguet. “His knowledge of global banking will be invaluable to Banque Piguet as we continue to grow our presence in a number of new markets.”

De Boissezon added that “the expansion of the Banque Piguet business is an exciting challenge and one that I am greatly looking forward to. Switzerland remains a dominant force in the private banking world, Banque Piguet holds a well respected, and growing position within this community.”
