Mellon European Fund Services, the investment administration arm of Mellon Financial Corporation in Europe, says David Copley has joined as Executive Director of Investment Manager Solutions.
Copley, an accountant, was Head of Investment Operations and Transfer Agency at Deutsche Asset Management in London where he worked for seven years, having been with Ernst & Young before joining Deutsche.
“Given his strong operational background, we are delighted that David has joined us to lead this fast-growing part of Mellon’s business,” says Richard Godfrey, Managing Director of Mellon European Fund Services, to whom David Copley will report. “He will have responsibility for all operations that involve servicing the asset, and that includes the investment administration team we transferred from F&C last year and our long-standing, market-leading Fund Accounting business.”
