Teiichi Aruga, chairman of the Supervisory Board of CSK Software AG, announced today that Johannes Untiedt (52) has resigned as chief executive officer of CSK Software AG. “As his ideas for the future business strategy of CSK Software differed from those of the shareholder, Mr Untiedt decided to resign to pursue new business interests. We wish him well in his new ventures,” says Aruga.
Following the resignation of Untiedt, Andreas Wagner (39) and Jrgen Dahmen (42) comprise the board of CSK Software AG. Wagner has been with the financial-market specialist software provider for 13 years, most recently as chief technology officer. In the new Board, he is responsible for technology, professional services, sales, and marketing. The finance, investor relations, legal, contracts, and human resources functions will now report to Jrgen Dahmen. Dahmen has been chief financial officer at CSK Software since 2000.
“We are going to deepen and to extend our vertical focus on the financial industry,” Wagner emphasises . He intends to implement solutions which address business issues and initiatives of the financial industry. Areas include Basel II, MaK (Minimum Requirements for Credit Management in Germany), Business Process Automation (BPA) & Integration, and SWIFT. “We are going to deliver technology in the business context and in business terms”, says Wagner.
“We are going to strengthen our position as a national and international key player in the market for financial software and IT services for financial institutions, to continue to be a reliable partner for the financial industry,” summarises board member Jrgen Dahmen.
Separately, a new development centre i s being established in Japan
to serve the Asian market more quickly with business solutions based on CSK Software technology. . At the same time, the professional services group in Asia is being strengthened.
