On 30th October 2008, CSD representatives met with brokers and
custodians to perform future strategic plans and aspects of work.
Points discussed during the meeting:1. Further development plans of CSD (such as: establishing connection to SWIFT network; new international links with depositories; discussions with major Western European Clearing Houses for the clearing of Romanian and international securities)
2. Introducing flat commissions for settlement
3. Changing the safekeeping fees structure, from a percentage applied to the end month portfolio to a percentage applied to a monthly average portfolio.
To clarify all the above aspects and establish certain figures in terms of new levels of commissions determined topics will be discussed with the custodian representatives at separated meetings.
