Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers form a new brand “Barclays CapitalIndices”, integrated platform of indices.
Barclays Capital will continue the calculation and publication of the existing Barclays Capital indices as well as the existing family of Lehman Brothers indices. In addition it will maintain the associated index calculation,publication and analytical infrastructure and tools that were part of the former Lehman Brothers index platform. Barclays Capital ensures minimal interruption of service and high efficiency in the production and publication for the former Lehman indices.
The process of re-branding index-linked products and benchmarks is laborious but Barclays Capital promise to manage in close cooperation with its clients and partners.
