Computer Sciences Corporation is to provide information technology (IT) infrastructure services to BEC, a provider to the financial sector in Denmark. The agreement is valued at US$71 million over a six-year period.
Under terms of the agreement, CSC will provide IT infrastructure services to BEC in Denmark. The new agreement builds upon CSC’s existing relationship with BEC, under which CSC has been delivering bulk print services to BEC since June 2000.
“CSC is pleased with this latest expansion of our relationship with BEC, which expands CSC’s client base in the financial sector in the Nordic region,” says George Bell, president of CSC’s European Operations.
“CSC’s experience in working with financial organizations, and our track record of delivering operational and financial results makes us an ideal fit to support BEC.”
“BEC has gained a competitive advantage with this agreement, enabling BEC and its customers to pursue business goals more effectively. BEC sees CSC as a strategic business partner and we look forward to working together in the years to come,” adds Adam Harhoff, chief technology officer of BEC.
