Credit Suisse Group is still exploring all options for its Winterthur insurance unit, which it has said is no longer part of its core business even though it has become a major contributor to group earnings, according to a Reuters report.
“We are exploring all options — if I say all options, I really mean all options going forward,” Chief Financial Officer Reto Fassbind told journalists yesterday.
Credit Suisse may sell the business, but is also considering floating it on the market.
