Credit Suisse has appointed Vineet Nagrani as Head of Knowledge Process Strategy for the Investment Banking Division. Nagrani will report to Don Callahan, Head of Client Coverage Strategy for the Investment Banking Division.

In this newly-created role, Nagrani will develop the Investment Banking Division’s global knowledge process deployment strategy, addressing more higher value-added functions and processes, including research analytics and corporate finance valuation work.

Nagrani will also have a senior client relationship role in Credit Suisse, bringing to the Bank his extensive knowledge of the region and the client relationships he has forged while working in North and South Asia. He will start in April and will be based in India.

Nagrani returns to Credit Suisse after 12 years at Morgan Stanley, where he was recently Chief Executive Officer of its Advantage Services knowledge process outsourcing unit. He holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He first joined Credit Suisse in 1987 as a research analyst in New York, before becoming a Director of Equity Research in Hong Kong from 1992-1995.

“Vineet’s global experience in the field of knowledge process deployment gives Credit Suisse an edge as we focus on enhancing our global support operations,” says Paul Calello, the Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific at Credit Suisse. “This will help us improve client services and enhance shareholder value.”
