French investment bank Credit Agricole CIB has outsourced its listed derivatives back-office operations to CACEIS Investor Services.

CACEIS, which serves as the asset servicing business of Credit Agricole, will also act as its main listed derivatives clearer.

The clearing offer is part of a CACEIS’s wider Market Solutions package, which includes execution, clearing, securities lending, collateral management, foreign exchange and cash management.

“By entrusting the clearing and processing of our listed derivatives to CACEIS, we benefit from their broad coverage of markets and products such as equities, indices, dividends, rates, FX, raw materials etc,” said Eric Lechaudel, global head of operations, Credit Agricole CIB.

CACEIS plans to further develop its integrated execution-to-custody by including back-office outsourcing of third parties.
