Computershare announced today that its Analytics division is working with VPC AB to provide investor relations services to Swedish public companies. The process will start with an initial period of client testing to determine client requirements and market demand.

After the initial trial period, VPC and Computershare will continue the discussion in order to set a standard for a more permanent working partnership.

“This first step confirms VPC’s commitment to providing value added services to our corporate clients,” says Kjell Arvidsson, CEO of VPC. “This cooperation is in line with VPCs ambition to work with leading financial service providers in Europe”.

Nick Dawson, managing director of Computershare Analytics UK, added: “VPC has a fantastic reputation and all-inclusive client base and we are very excited about the prospect of working together. Computershare views Sweden as an important part of the EU and we see this as a springboard to further relationships in the Nordic region. We have been incredibly impressed with the efficient market structures in this part of Europe and we look forward to working with the Swedish corporate community”.

Iain Saville, Managing Director of Computershare Europe, says: “Computershare is proud to be working with one of Europe’s most sophisticated settlement and register systems to bring fresh value to Swedish issuing companies.”
