Computershare today announced the appointment Fleur Wood to a new position heading up Investor Relations services to UK Corporates. Wood, former Head of UK Investor Relations at Lehman Brothers, will take up her position with immediate effect.

Nick Dawson, managing director of Computershare Analytics – formerly Citywatch – said: “Fleur’s City credentials with Lehman, Hoare Govett and Warburg speak for themselves. She will take Computershare Analytics direct to UK plc and the investor relations industry – this appointment is critical to the next stage of the development of our business. I am absolutely delighted that Fleur has agreed to join us.”

Commenting on her appointment, Wood said, “Computershare has big plans, exciting new products and an impeccable client list. I have spent the last 15 years using Citywatch’s products and in the latest generation system, IRTrack, they have a world-beater. It will be the City tool for all IR practitioners. On top of that, Computershare is on the way to building a truly global shareholder identification database. The future of shareholder analysis lies in Computershare’s hands.”

Wood was responsible for setting up, managing and running the UK IR advisory role at Lehman. Previous positions include senior roles at Hoare Govett and SBC Warburg, advising a wide variety of FTSE 100 clients on all aspects of their IR strategy.

IRtrack, soon to be launched in the UK, is a web-delivered solution for Investor Relations professionals allowing them to access the most accurate timely and complete shareholder and market intelligence information available. It is designed to accommodate the needs of both small and large companies.
