The Association for Payment Clearing Services (APACS) today announced the appointment of Sandra Quinn as Director of Corporate Communications. She will be taking up the post from Monday 2 September, replacing Richard Tyson-Davies who is retiring.

Sandra has worked at APACS for 12 years, most recently as Head of European Policy – a role that will be subsumed into her new responsibilities which include external and internal communications and all media relations.

Sandra says: “It’s a very interesting time for the payments industry and so I am delighted to be taking on this new role. A number of legislative changes affecting payments are on the horizon so the main communications challenge will be to explain the impact of these changes effectively to consumers.”
