City Networks has opened an office in Johannesburg. The company says there is strong demand for its products in South Africa, where clients include Anglo American, Barclays, Citigroup, Credit Agricole Indosuez, The Mauritius Commercial Bank Limited, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, Highveld Steel and Vanadium Corporation Limited, Investec Bank Limited, Nedbank, Rennies Bank, Standard Bank of SA Limited Corporate and Investment Banking and American Express Foreign Exchange. They will now be supported locally. South African Centre Manager, Julie Zimmerman, claims that “our leading range of financial messaging, trade matching, reconciliation and funding solutions has been strongly endorsed by South Africa’s leading institutions.”
