Citco has launched a new standalone service offering recordkeeping and reporting for its institutional investor clients.

The launch of Citco Institutional Services (CIS) will be led by Nick Eisenlau, the fund administrator’s head of digital strategy and business analytics.

Working alongside Citco’s core operations team and leveraging its asset servicing processing capabilities, the new range of services aims to relieve legislative and regulatory pressures on pension funds, endowments, outsourced chief investment officers (OCIO) and family offices.

“Institutional Services is a natural evolution of our core administration capabilities and will broaden our relationship with investors across the globe. We are thrilled to have such an experienced talent as Nick to drive the build-out of this offering,” said Roald Smeets, president of Citco.

Citco stated for institutional investor clients that are heavily focused on fee transparency and performance reporting, they can access their standalone offerings to augment their current processes.

It also said Citco has become the first asset service to offer verification of fund fees across both open-end and close-end fund charges, including management, incentive and carry structures, as well as delivery of standardised reports.

CIS will also provide a performance book of record allowing institutional investors to capture full transparency on their investments, including incorporation of all historical adjustments.

Eisenlau previously led the development and rollout of CitcoOne, one of the first web data anlauytics and visualisations platforms to over 400 clients.
