The privatization of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) will be the pull of the deeper integration of the Central European equity markets – said Mr. Michael Buhl the Co.CEO of the Wiener Stock Exchange to Reuters.
He also said that consolidation process should wait for the finalization of the privatization in Warsaw to have any opportunity to integrate into the alliance. Currently Budapest and Vienna should focus on the set up of unified structures for the indexes and for reporting purposes.
According to the integration process Mr. Buhl said, agreed with the opinion of the CEO of Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE), that he preferred the holding of the national stock exchanges with strong alliance instead of one unified market because it is more convenient for the small issuer companies.
