Lee Amaitis, international president of money-broking firm Cantor Fitzgerald, was giving evidence in Britain’s High Court in a lawsuit brought by a former senior managing director who is claiming 1.5 million pounds ($2.51 million) in damages from Cantor for constructive dismissal and breach of contract. According to Reuters,

Amaitis has admitted that he once had a drug/alcohol problem, that he was obsessive and compulsive, that he swore at staff and banged his fists as he talked – but he denied claims that he was unreasonably abusive – said shouting was part of the business, and noted he had not objected to being shouted at in the past.
