BNY Mellon has appointed Frank Anduiza as head of Americas business development for its hedge fund services business.

Anduiza joins from Citi where he spent 12 years within its hedge fund services division, and held senior business development roles for prime brokerage, fund administration, middle-office and custody.

In his new role, Anduiza will lead the sales efforts for BNY Mellon’s hedge fund services business in the US, Canada and Latin America.

“Frank brings a wealth of experience to this role and we are very excited to have him on the team,” said Peter Salvage, global had of hedge fund services, BNY Mellon.

“His deep knowledge of hedge fund needs and his track record developing business will be critical for BNY Mellon in serving our expanding client base of hedge, credit and hybrid private equity funds.”

Earlier this year, BNY Mellon hired a former hedge fund specialist from JP Morgan in a new newly created sales role focusing on alternative investment management clients, including hedge funds, exchange traded funds, and structured products.
