Blockchain and collateral panels to headline GC Awards

Global Custodian is pleased to announce the formation of two special industry panel discussions focused on two of the most important topics of the year.

As voted by GC readers, Blockchain and collateral were the two most popular choices.

Unsurprisingly, the Fintech buzzword of the year – Blockchain – will be the subject of the first session as panellists outline what the industry can expect from the tech phenomenon in 2016.

Collateral management will be the topic for the second discussion, as the panel highlights the roles in which collateral transformation, mobility and FinTech innovation may play in meeting forthcoming challenges.

These sessions will be hosted prior to the annual Leaders in Custody Gala Dinner and Awards Programme for European Markets taking place on 17 March at Simpson’s in the Strand (adjacent to The Savoy where the Gala Dinner is taking place).

At the awards, Global Custodian will also be awarding a Lifetime Achievement Award to Yawar Shah, managing director, franchise risk and strategy, Citi, and chairman of the SWIFT Board.
