FlexTrade Systems, an equity trading and order management system, announced that Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC has installed FlexTRADER at the firm’s program trading desk. FlexTRADER offers portfolio trading functionality and quantitative analytics.
“To build a sizable institutional business requires a reliable, scalable trading system with the capacity to handle rapidly growing trading volume,” said David Liles, head of portfolio trading at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., LLC. “Installing FlexTRADER has given us a 6-12 month jump on the (program trading) business, and provided a stable platform upon which complex strategies can be built.”
Bernstein went live on FlexTRADER in August.
