Instinet Europe has connected to Atrium Network’s extranet community to take advantage of its low latency connectivity to the European exchanges and MTFs.
We are delighted to welcome Instinet to our ever expanding community, says Emmanuel Carjat, chief executive officer, Atrium Network. We offer clients a single point of access to exchanges, clearing houses, CSDs and market data providers in an effort to help them simplify their connectivity. As new MTFs come to market, participants may commit significant capital investment to co-locate at every MTF venue.
As part of this, Atrium Networks Exchange Ring will provide ultra low latency, dark fibre connectivity to all available MTFs and exchanges. By connecting to Atrium Network, Instinet can now mitigate the potential risk and reduce co-location costs, not least in a climate in which not all the MTFs may necessarily survive.
