Aleri has promoted Jerry Baulier to chief technology officer.

Bauler previously served as VP of Aleri Labs Development and has experience with streaming analytics technology including tenure at Bell Labs.

“Jerry’s background makes him ideally suited to Aleri’s goal of becoming the market leader in streaming analytics,” said Don DeLoach, president and CEO, Aleri. “Jerry has done an outstanding job since coming to Aleri in leading our development and architecture team as well as guiding the direction of our technology. I am confident his technical guidance and team leadership at the CTO level will position Aleri for continued success.”

Baulier joined Aleri in 2004 to lead Aleri’s technology development efforts and provide technical vision for Aleri’s strategic product roadmap. Previously, he was an executive vice president of Technology & Engineering at Required Technologies, where he led the technical efforts to productize a next generation analytical data warehouse. Prior to Required Technologies, he spent 14 years at Lucent Technologies (formerly AT&T), where he was a director in the Information Sciences Research Center of Bell Laboratories. Baulier focused on real-time information systems and was awarded several patents in that field. Prior to Bell Labs, he worked for United Technologies and Texas Instruments.

Baulier has a graduate degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts.
