Bloomberg is reporting that the chief investment officer of New Star Asset Management Group Plc, Alan Miller, has left the company following his decision to go on sabbatical in 2006. As yet he has given no reason for his departure.
He was replaced in September by Gregor Logan, and his 60 million hedge fund was taken over by Stephen Whittaker and Guy Crossland.
He has been publicly known due to his divorce as he was ordered to pay 5 million to his then wife after three years of marriage.
