Fund management IT vendor Financial Tradeware has appointed New York-based Computer Intelligence Group (CIG) to sell and service its technology in the North American and Caribbean regions.

CIG, an IT consulting and services company CIG, will sell, install and support the full range of Financial Tradeware trading, back office administration, accounting and compliance applications.

“The explosive growth in the hedge fund market particularly in the USA, has led to a large number of smaller companies who need a cost effective solution to their global connectivity requirements,” says Graham Bright, Managing Director of Financial Tradeware. “This is our core market where we have a strong base of knowledge. We wanted to work with a partner who understands the local markets and their accounting structures, such as Sarbanes-Oxley. Therefore our solutions can provide the necessary STP and automation with the full front to back office audit capabilities required to meet local legislation.”

Joe Feldman, Executive Vice President of CIG, says CIG identified a “close business and technical fit between CIG and the range of proven Financial Tradeware applications. We know that there is a clear need and demand for these solutions in the markets that we are operating in.”
