Aberdeen Asset Management became the UK’s largest listed fund manager by buying Credit Suisse’s fund management division just before the end of 2008, according to the Financial Times.
The deal is reportedly worth about 250 million. Aberdeen also bought Deutsche Bank’s UK fund arm in the past two years.
