BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed Frank Roden as Global Product Head of Transfer Agency & Retail. He will move to Luxembourg in August and will report in his new role to Frederic Perard, Product Head for Global Funds Services.
As Global Product Head for Transfer Agency & Retail, Roden will be responsible for the development of BNP Paribas Securities Services’ product and service delivery to meet the global needs of fund promoters and distributors of financial products to the retail markets.
Roden was previously Location Head for BNP Paribas Securities Services in Ireland having overseen the local integration of Cogent Investment Operations subsequent to the acquisition by BNP Paribas in 2002. As Location Head he was responsible for all operational, product development, sales and relationship aspects of the Irish business.
“Now is a very exciting time to take on responsibility for further developing our Transfer Agency and Retail business,” says Roden. “Apart from playing our part in the continuing optimisation and standardisation of funds processing in Europe, we have some exciting initiatives underway to support the development of open architecture and the explosion of cross-border distribution.”
In Dublin, Roden is replaced by Paul Daly who assumes the role of Location Head having previously been Head of Sales & Relationship Management in Ireland since February 2001.
