Credit Suisse Group reported income from continuing operations of CHF 8,549 million for the full year 2007, an increase of 3% compared to 2006.
Net revenues on a core results basis also increased 3% to CHF 36,130 million in 2007. Net income in 2007 was CHF 8,549 million, down from CHF 11,327 million in 2006, which included income from discontinued operations of CHF 3,070 million.
Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations for 2007 were CHF 7.65 compared to CHF 7.19 for 2006, and were CHF 1.21 for the fourth quarter of 2007 compared to CHF 2.29 for the fourth quarter of 2006.
The return on equity was 19.8% in 2007 and 12.4% in the fourth quarter of 2007.
