Bedrock, an established Private Investment Office providing discretionary and advisory investment services across various asset classes from its offices in London and Switzerland, has announced the official launch of its Family Office.
The group says this is in response to growing demand from HNW families who find it increasingly cost efficient to outsource the management of their non-investment related personal affairs to a team of professionals who combine diverse talents and can access a vast network of specialist advisors.
Since founding Bedrock in 2004, the team has worked hard to create a superior offering that meets the exacting and individual needs of their clients, says the official statement.
Over time, the multidisciplinary activities of a Family Office have increasingly become a natural part of the Bedrock offering and the partners recognised the need to formalise the service to ensure the highest levels of clarity and continuity were maintained.
Bedrock has adopted the same core principles it applies to its investment management services to its Family Office proposition, whereby clients are assigned a team of highly motivated and dedicated professionals who will be solely responsible for co-coordinating a family’s entire portfolio of complex personal activities. Clients also have access to a network of international advisors that Bedrock has built up over the past 20 years and who are proven experts in their respective fields.
An executive committee comprised of existing Bedrock senior professionals has been set up to oversee the Bedrock Family Office.
This consists of two of the managing partners, Sandy Koifman and Maurice Ephrati, as well as Bedrocks CFO, Jerome Zanus-Fortes and COO, Keyvan Khosrovshahi, with day to day management handled by the latter two executives. With more than 20 years of experience in this space, they have been selected for having extensive expertise and contacts in this field.
“The set up of a family office activity is a natural progression to our existing offering,” says Maurice Ephrati, managing partner at Bedrock. “Our extensive experience and exposure to the needs of HNW families gives Bedrock an intimate understanding and proven track record of managing clients’ complex private investment and administration concerns. This next phase in our considered strategy for growth will help us cement our position as ‘trusted advisors of choice’ for HNW families around the globe.”
