XRT, the world’s largest provider of financial management software that supports the treasury needs of medium and large organizations, has named Daniel Andres as General Manager for XRT Central Europe, comprising Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.

Andres will be responsible for executing XRT’s Sales, Marketing and Product strategy with the goal of expanding the business and presence in the region.

“Daniel’s extensive financial systems experience will be an asset to XRT as we continue to partner with our German, Swiss and Austrian clients, while also looking to bring our expertise to the expanding Eastern European market,” said Alain Fraiberger, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of XRT.

“At a crucial time in the expansion of our market it is important to have a leader with Daniel’s experience who can also innovate,” Fraiberger added.

Andres comes to XRT from SimCorp in London where, as a managing director, he was responsible for business activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for their corporate treasury solution. At SimCorp, he successfully introduced new sales and marketing strategies, entirely restructured the service department while putting great emphasis on product enhancement and closing high-end contracts in complex negotiations. Earlier he was Business Development Manager for SunGard Online Investment Systems in London.
