Xenomorph, a provider of enterprise-wide data management and analysis solutions to hedge funds and equity, fixed income and derivatives trading operations, says it is now offering Java-based access to its TimeScape data management applications.

The company says the incorporation of Java technology brioadens choice for users, and facilitates deployment of application functionality across multiple operating systems and hardware platforms, such as Sun Solaris Unix and all variants of Linux.

“The addition of the Java API extends our already comprehensive technology coverage and will enable our clients to select the most appropriate deployment methods for their users’ needs,” says Brian Sentance, managing director, Xenomorph. “Against a background of strong competition between Java and .NET technologies, Xenomorph remains committed to providing its clients with the widest possible choice of deployment technology.”

Xenomorph says TimeScape has been designed to increase the efficiency of enterprise data management by integrating multiple data sources and providing simple, but highly powerful tools for retrieving and analyzing large volumes of financial markets data. “TimeScape provides a truly effective framework for enhancing straight through processing levels and addressing key risk management issues such as the introduction of Basel II,” claims the company.
