Xenomorph, a financial data management and analytics supplier, has appointed Greg Johnson as director of sales and marketing.

Johnson has spent more than 20 years in sales and marketing roles in financial IT. Having started his career with Burroughs, where he headed up the Building Societies branch, he subsequently held senior sales and marketing roles for BIS Banking Systems, before specialising in start-up and early stage businesses.

In the early 1990s he was part of the team that created and launched Open Hub, the first EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) solution for capital markets. As sales and marketing director, Johnson extended the Open Hub client base across four continents.

In 1997 Johnson was instrumental in creating Netik, a company dedicated to providing straight through processing solutions to the capital markets sector. Netik enjoyed spectacular growth in the late 1990s with offices in North and Central America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Most recently, he was London-based sales and marketing director for GL Trade, a supplier of electronic trading solutions for capital markets.

Xenomorph, founded 1995, supplies enterprise-wide data management and analysis solutions to the equity, fixed income and derivatives markets.
