Xchanging, the UK business processing services company, signed a 3-year, GBP7.5 million investment program and a partnership with Microsoft, in the continuing development of Genius, a general insurance business processing solution.

“Genius is already used by 70 companies in 30 countries,” said David Andrews, CEO of Xchanging. “We are taking what is already recognised as a world-class solution, extending functionality, partnering with Microsoft and modernizing the technology to make Genius the best global straight-through processing answer for the general insurance sector.”

Xchanging will deploy Genius on a Microsoft.NET platform, making it adaptable to a wider community of insurance users.
