Wrap platforms provide a golden opportunity for UK IFAs to transform the value of their businesses, according to Abacus director David Ferguson.
Ferguson says wraps will enable IFAs to gain appropriate value for their efforts of the past 20 years by building process into their businesses while generating greater recurring income on existing client portfolios.
“Wrap, and in particular the effective mining of legacy books, provides the greatest opportunity that IFAs will ever have to reclaim the capital value that has been unwittingly lost to the large institutions that just about continue to roam the market,” he says.
