The Bank of New York announced today that Australian minerals company WMC Resources Limited has selected the Bank as depositary for its listed American depositary receipt (ADR) program. The bank now issues depositary receipts for more than 1,400 programs in 70 countries, and claims a two thirds share of the ADR market.
