Wells Fargo has launches a new service that organizes and tracks an accountholder’s spending activity. It covers all spending, whether through credit cards, debit cards, online bill payment, or cheques.

“Believe it or not, there are still people who think there’s only one way to get an overview of their expenditures – physically collecting and recording every receipt and transaction,” says the bank in a statement. “The trouble is: by the time they get around to gathering up their statements from debit and credit cards, checking, bill-paying and ATM withdrawals, they may have already gone into the red.”

The Wells Fargo My Spending Report aims to provide customers with consolidated reports of spending, and to allow consumers to see where their money is going in real time
