Wall Street Systems, Inc., a provider of global treasury and capital markets solutions and services, has announced that it will launch its new Operations Control Manager as an integrated part of The Wall Street System treasury engine, at Sibos 2003, which is scheduled to be held at the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre from 20-24 October.
The new module will give management a graphical representation of the processing flow of all transactions allowing them to monitor, control and process trades through every step of the lifecycle, from front to back office. Users will be alerted to any bottlenecks or issues that need human intervention via an operations console. The new functionality will help to streamline operations, ensuring that control is enhanced and operational risk is reduced across the global enterprise.
“As trading across multiple locations has increased, our customers need to be able to access an overall, consolidated view for all product transactions across all geographies, so that any problems can immediately be identified and resolved. The Operations Control Manager is a valuable enhancement to our core system. Working alongside our existing matching and reconciliation capability, it will enable firms to quickly eliminate any obstacles to STP,” explains Mike Thrower, Director of Marketing at Wall Street Systems.
The new Operations Control Manager will allow events from The Wall Street System treasury engine or external systems to be imported, processed and reported, with full flexibility so that users can change the workflow definition and incorporate their own exception management and escalation rules. Simple navigation is provided via new screens containing links allowing the user to view the details of each exception, process transactions, make enquiries and make configuration changes within the system.
