Wall Street Systems, Inc., a provider of global treasury and capital markets solutions and services, has announced the appointment of John Murray as sales manager for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Murray will be based in London with responsibility for developing and closing new EMEA business to further increase Wall Street Systems’ client base in the region.
Murray, with over 15 years experience in both banking and banking software, served previously as EMEA sales manager for Principia Partners in London, where he managed the distribution of the software solutions for complex structured products and credit arbitrage vehicles. A graduate in Mathematics and Economics, Murray started his career as an FX trader in Dublin before going on to spend eight years working in the treasury and capital markets technology industry where he held senior sales management positions – responsible for the pre and post sale functions and account management of large strategic accounts. Muray also was responsible for finding new business opportunities in Europe, Middle East and South Africa.
