VSE Lists Two New Companies

At its meeting on October 10, 2005, The Vilnius Stock Exchange’s Management Board decided to admit two new companies to be listed on the VSE.

From October 24, 2005, shares of Apranga APB will be admitted to the Vilnius Stock Exchange (VSE) Main List. Apranga is the biggest clothing store chain in Lithuania, with about 30% market share. As of June 30, 2005, the company had 734 shareholders.

From October 18, 2005, registered corporate bonds of Lietuvos energija AB will be admitted to the Vilnius Stock Exchange (VSE) Debt Securities List.Such a decision was made at the VSE Management Board meeting on October 10, 2005.

“Corporate bond list constantly increases at the stock exchange. This year, we have listed 7 corporate bond issues of 4 companies. We hope that more companies will use this instrument to finance their business and will issue public corporate bond issues,” said Dalia Jasulaityte, chairman of the VSE Management Board. As of June 30, 2005, the company had 5,074 shareholders.
