Flemming Andersen has been appointed Managing Director and CEO of VP LUX as from 15 September 2009.
Andersen has recently held a position as Director, Corporate and Investment Banking with Kaupthing Bank Luxembourg. Prior to this, Andersen has held managerial positions with GE Capital and Spar Nord Bank.
VP LUX operates as a Central Securities Depository (CSD) in Luxembourg covering needs of both local customers in Luxembourg and Danish customers with a need for issuing Euro bonds. VP LUX is a fully owned subsidiary of the Danish CSD, VP SECURITIES, which is one of the most efficient provider of basic securities issuing, clearing and settlement services in Europe.
